With the enormous range of landscaping materials and the options now available, Paul spends considerable time with each client advising them on how they can transform their environment.
He gets to know their hobbies, passions, characters and tastes. He walks the site and within minutes can capture the vision of the completed project. It is then a matter of considering the options, collaborating ideas and getting down to work. Undertaking a full development is Paul’s favourite challenge – from the bare site to the feature landscaped completion. The average development, such as the complete landscaping of a kiwifruit orchard garden will consume his total focus for six to seven weeks. Paul works with a team of subcontractors, plumbers, electricians and excavators – most of whom have been with him since 1996.
Terra Firma moves in with bobcats and trucks. They clear and prepare the site and carry out the full provisions for lighting, water features, rock placement, cobblestone paving, timber features and completed gardens and driveways.
It is, says Paul, an absolute labour of love. He loves the work, he loves the people he works for and he just loves that final moment of the customers satisfaction.
Terra Firma’s work is top shelf, Pauls’ reputation rests on that.
We do the whole package from the initial consultation to cleaning the windows before we leave. My clients know exactly where they stand from the word go. They receive a written proposal down to the last cent !
Paul readily grasped our general ideas and translated them into reality with enthusiasm and precision. The quality of work was excellent, with meticulous attention to detail. We are very satisfied with the result. Matt & Jenny Parrington, Te Puke
