We called on Paul’s advice for a large garden renovation. The project involved removing some 58 large trees plus all the underplanting. Paul suggested he come back when all the trees had been removed. On Paul’s return he came up with a plan that future proofed the property and reduced the workload for our advanced years. Our requirement was that Paul managed the project through to completion. This involved Paul’s normal team of contractors along with other contractors carrying out work on other parts of the site. Along with this there was a need to fit in with orchard pickers involving many people along with extra trucks while all the earthworks continued at the property. This all worked extremely smoothly and safely and was completed in the timeline planned. We now have a property that has specimen trees growing in a park like setting requiring low maintenance that we can enjoy in future years. As we have experienced in a previous project Paul is innovative and a pleasure to work with and we are impressed with the result.

Paul from Terra Firma was initially engaged as a landscape designer and landscape contractor for this project offering a turnkey service for exterior works, this involved conceptual design right through to concrete work, jetty upgrades, extensive site contouring, plant selection and installation/maintenance of ready lawn. Midway through the build Paul’s expertise proved he could take on the role of Site Manager, this encompassed organisation of all project subcontractors, site safety and security, management of third-party suppliers for furniture and cabinetry, liaison with DCA Architects, Yvette Jay Interior Design and direct reporting to the client. Paul also undertook the implementation of the remaining items required by the Territorial Authority to close out Code of Compliance. Paul was a great asset to the project and helped to bring the build to the finish line in a professional manner. I would not hesitate to recommend him in this role for future projects.
